  • Cooking: Visitors should bring their own cooking stoves and all necessary supplies.
  • Water: You'll need to treat or boil water from nearby streams or snow melt for drinking.

Reservations and Fees

  • Reservations for the cabin are mandatory and can be made up to six months in advance.
  • There is a nightly fee to rent the cabin. Prices are subject to change, so always check the current rates when planning your trip.

Rules and Regulations

  • Pack In, Pack Out: All visitors must pack out their trash and leave no trace.
  • Pets: Dogs are allowed, but they must be under control at all times.
  • Wildlife: The area is bear country, so proper food storage and bear safety practices are essential.
  • Permits: No special permits are required for staying in the cabin, but train tickets must be secured for transportation if not hiking in.
  • Wood Stove: The cabin is equipped with a wood stove. Bring your own wood or collect dead and down wood; cutting live vegetation is not allowed.
