Jenny Lake Campground is one of the more popular campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park, thanks mainly to its stunning location and proximity to Jenny Lake itself. This area offers spectacular views of the Tetons and provides convenient access to trails, serene lake shores, and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities.

Campsite Information

  • Number of sites: Jenny Lake Campground offers around 49 individual campsites.
  • Type of sites: Primarily tent camping. Each site includes a picnic table, a fire pit, and nearby flush toilets.
  • Group sites: There are no group sites available at Jenny Lake; it is primarily designed for individual campsites.
  • RVs and Trailers: RVs and trailers are not recommended due to size restrictions and the natural layout of the campground. Sites can typically accommodate tents and small campers only.

Reservations and Fees

  • Reservations: This campground is extremely popular and operates on a first-come, first-served basis; it does not accept reservations. Campers are advised to arrive early, especially during peak season, as it tends to fill up quickly.

  • Pets: Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times and are not permitted on trails or in the backcountry.
