Overview of Fort Stevens State Park

Fort Stevens State Park is a public recreation area located on the northern Oregon coast, near the mouth of the Columbia River. It is part of the Lewis and Clark National and State Historical Parks and was once the primary military defense installation in the three-fort, Harbor Defense System at the mouth of the Columbia River (the other two forts being Fort Canby in Washington and Fort Columbia).
